About Me

I am a Software Engineering student at McMaster University looking for Fall 2026 co-op opportunities in Toronto and the GTA. My background combines software development projects with 5+ years of hands-on IT systems experience across troubleshooting, deployment validation, endpoint preparation, documentation, and user-facing technical support.

Before focusing on software engineering, I worked in technical support environments where I diagnosed hardware, software, OS, and network issues, prepared approximately 200 devices per week, supported thousands of device workflows, and trained new team members on repeatable technical processes.

That experience shapes how I build software: I care about clear workflows, reliable behavior, usable interfaces, documentation, and practical systems thinking. Why My Background Fits Co-op Roles

Software Development

My software projects show practical full-stack and frontend development using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, REST APIs, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. My IT background helps me debug carefully, document clearly, and think about real users.

QA / SDET

In IT support, I spent a lot of time isolating issues, reproducing failures, validating fixes, documenting patterns, and checking whether systems behaved as expected. That experience maps naturally to QA, software testing, SDET, and software analyst work.

DevOps / IT Automation

My systems experience includes endpoint deployment, imaging, configuration, network troubleshooting, deployment validation, and repeatable technical documentation. That gives me a practical foundation for DevOps / IT Automation, Systems Analyst, and Technical Analyst co-op roles.

I am continuing to improve my projects with stronger automation coverage, clearer support documentation, CI/CD practice, and deployment validation.
